出生於西元1983年，是一位在日本土生土長的攝影師,後來到舊金山的藝術學校深造，移居紐約，他曾在日本和美國舉辦過展覽，最近和其它100位日本攝影師在廣播上，以日本著名的攝影雜誌Photographica為專欄，他的作品通常都能捕捉到?那的永恆，從他的作品中我們可以讀到獨一無二的故事，且不斷地衝擊的我們的感官，激起好奇心，記憶和創造力。
born in 1983, photographer who grew up in Japan,went to art school in San Francisco and lived in NYC.He has had exhibitions in Japan and the US and was recently featured in Japan's top photography magazine, Photographica and 100 Japanese photographer from studio voice.
His works are more than a moment in time. His photographs tell a very unique story that can continually stimulate our senses, our curiosity, our memory and our creativity.
83年生まれ、アメリカに渡りアートスクールで写真を学び、自身もまたスケートボーダーで現地のリアルな サブカルチャーに触れる。 また現地で数々の写真展を開催する。 帰国後はカルチャー誌などの媒体で活躍の場を広げ 日本の１００人の写真家にも選ばれる。 彼の銀塩モノクロ写真はデジタル写真とは全く違った 味わいを醸し出し、その場の匂いや、音、湿気までをも感じさせる。
まるでLPレコードの針のノイズのように・・・なのだけれども安らぎと懐かしさを感じさせてくれる。一瞬を切り取った作品なのに映画のように前後のストーリーが見えてくる。

日本藝術家團體Hitotzuki將於1/25-1/29來到台北,在the Base Taipei店内的牆上塗鴉彩繪、歡迎大家蒞臨參觀整個藝術彩繪的精彩過程。the Base 的營業時間為8am-22pm。
Japanese artist unit, Hitotzuki, will be painting the wall at the Base Taipei from 1/25-1/29.
The Base will be opening regular hours, from 8am-22 pm. You can check the painting work in progress by Hitotzuki at the Base Taipei during those days.

Hitotzuki是由KAMI和SASU兩人在1999年組合而成,Hitotzuki象徴太陽和月亮、兩種極端對立的因子相互激盪融合，藉由彼此的靈感衝擊，從日常生活型態和感受來創作繪畫藝術。
HITOTZUKI's art work are collaboration of KAMI and SASU. They began working together in 1999.The name "HITOTZUKI", stands for the sun and the moon, contrary to one another, they differ yet fuse together.Through their ideology, depicting scenery from their lifestyle and feelings.

淺草，所謂東京的下町（東京舊城區），是日本塗鴉師 ESOW 開創一系列藝術活動的大本營。傳統獨特的淺草，對喜好日本文化的人?對不陌生，有大家熟悉的雷門大燈籠及淺草寺、傳統商店街、甚至是設計鬼才 Phillipe Starck 著名的朝日啤酒大樓。這位申根於淺草的藝術家以自我和風的觀點，長年與日本街頭及大廠牌合作的藝術家，如NIKE、FTC等，甚至參與塗鴉巨作 RackGaki落書きーJapanese Graffiti（落書?日本塗鴉）之書的一員，收尋 ESOW圖片更是會給你無數的精采作品。在今年 4/23~ 5/31，位於台北車站的 the Base 將會將 ESOW ?年各式各樣的作品呈現在你眼前！
開幕當天， ESOW 跟他淺草的夥伴們將把 the Base 打造出淺草特有的氛圍。同時除了塗鴉作品展覽之外，也會有其他不同的活動，讓你感受到最原汁的 ESOW 專屬淺草味！

ESOW, the Graffiti Artist based in Asakusa, the Downtown Tokyo.
ESOW will be hosting his first solo art show "TAI-PEI-FU-RAI" at the gallery cafe, the Base Taipei. He will be exhibiting art pieces he has created over the past years, starting 4/23 until 5/31For the opening of the exhibition to be held on 4/23 starting at 7 pm, ESOW is bringing his local friends from ASAKUSA to the Base where you can feel the REAL ASAKUSA vibes.
First, before the art show opening event, the one-and-only bike messenger from Japan, HAL will be organizing bicycle street race event cooperated with Taiwanese fixed gear crew nabiis. The winners will win prizes to be given during the art show opening event. Let's see what HAL, who has been organized many street races in TOKYO, will do in Taipei street with nabiis! Entries are now open, contact the Base Taipei or nabiis for more details.
After the bicycle race will be the opening of the ESOW's solo exhibition "TAI-PEI-FU-RAI"starting at 7 pm. For the opening night, ESOW will bring his favorite Izakaya (Japanese PUB) straight from ASAKUSA!! Izakaya is the place where ESOW hangs out and have drinks with his local boys. Izakaya at the Base will prepare drinks and street food all Asakusa style. You can enjoy ESOW's art with some Japanese local drinks and food in your hand. Music by DJ Marcus Aurelius, DJ Charles and more.
Of course, there will be a live painting show by ESOW. This is a great opportunity to check his unique style of art, the real street art scenes from Tokyo. Don't miss it!

東京下町浅草をベースに活動する自転車乗りのグラフィティアーティスト、ESOW。今回ESOWが初めて台北での個展を開催。これまでに彼が製作した大小さまざまなアートピースをthe Baseで展示します。オープニングには何とESOWが浅草の仲間を引き連れて台北に！アート展以外にも様々なイベントが行なわれ、彼らの浅草バイブスをthe Baseで体感できちゃいます！
まず個展オープニングイベントの前に東京最速メッセンジャー、ESOWの友人でもあるHALが台北のFixed Gear Crew nabiis と共に、台北の街を舞台にストリートレースを開催！勝者には夜のパーティーで豪華賞品が送られるこのレース、今まで東京では幾度もレースを企画してきたHALが台北ではどんな事をしてくれるのか？エントリー募集中！
そして19時から開催されるESOW個展「タイペイフウライ」オープニングでは浅草煮込みストリートスタイル居酒屋がthe Base に出店！！メニューも浅草と同じ、ドリンクだって浅草スタイル。ビール、焼酎、電気ブラン！Esowのアートを見ながら浅草スタイルを楽しめます。

In celebration of Taiwan's underground hip hop group Young Souljaz's debut EP, Dssent, together along with Taiwan's elite brands, Remix and Mania, released individual's limited items. The first shot goes to DSSENT's "The Metro Battalion Shemagh".
"The Metro Battalion Shemagh" has a wide variety of usage. Close to 1m x 1m in length, no only the shemagh could provide warmth outdoors, but wide enough for couch blankets in homes.
